timex expedition watch

I've been a fan of sports watches for more than 10 years but prefer fabric watch bands/straps, as opposed to rubber straps/bands.This is the best watch of its kind by far.It's not my first Timex but they have improved the features.The best new (at least to me) feature is the Indiglo button being in addition to the usual 4 buttons to change mode, set, etc.As with prior Timex watches of this type, it has 2 time settings--great for travelers or just daylight savings time changes.I especially like that it has 3 separate alarm settings and each can be set for daily, weekdays, or weekends.With the addition of the Indiglo button, setting time and alarms is simplifed and quick because there's plus/minus buttons, as opposed to having to roll around to get an earlier hour/time.This is a great watch and a good value for the price.I am still waiting for my free baseball cap which was supposed to be part of the deal.

Reliable watch has withstood two deployments to Iraq, among other things, and still works great.Date, alarm, indiglo, stopwatch, and dual time zone features have been very useful.Plastic parts aren't colored all the way through and are wearing off on some edges, but that's absolutely acceptable given the wear I've put on it.The face is still clear with no major scratches despite my scraping it against everything.I don't think you can beat the durability and functionality of this watch for the price.2012 update-- I'm still wearing this watch regularly during workouts and rowing sessions on the water, and it's still running on its original battery.Keeper!

this is a wonderful watch, it's louder than I thought it would be and sometimes it gets annoying but it is a nurses watch after all. The light is very bright and the numbers are large and easy to read. downside is setting it but that's a one-time thing, you have to keep turning the dial since that's all there is to it...I got mine on the 28th so I had to keep twisting for 10 minutes. if the month switches you have to change it on your watch too. not a big deal.

This Timex watch has a mid-size bezel, which means it is extremely comfortable to wear and once on the wrist you will forget you have it on. For ladies with a larger wrist the strap is plenty long, very comfortable, and it does not pinch.The time read out is extremely clear and easy to read, especially for a night shift RN, and the alarm is wonderfully simple to program, not only for me, but also for my 14-year-old daughter, both of us are ADD. I LOVE the soft blue indiglo back light, which is not harsh on the eyes at night.The BEST feature is the water resistance up to 165 feet. I come home from work, get into the shower, and never worry about whether or not I am wearing the watch. I also love the new colors. This one is a cool muted, ocean blue. There are many other colors available.Ironically, I might not have tried this watch had I not been surfing late one night and accidentally ordered this watch in my sleep. I had my one-click set up and must have dozed off and hit the button with my mouse. I even ordered it over night shipping and I hardly do that for anything I REALLY want for myself! (laughing)
